6 <br /> CITY OF ST.ANTHONY <br /> • HENNEPIN COUNTY,MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION 01-018 <br /> A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON PROPOSED. <br /> ASSESSMENT FOR 2001 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St.Anthony,a proposed assessment of the cost <br /> of the following improvements has been prepared: <br /> 2001 Street and Utility Improvements Project <br /> 1. Wilson Street from 29`h Avenue to 30`h Avenue; <br /> 2. West Armour Terrace from Roosevelt Street to Silver Lake Road; <br /> 3. 30"Avenue from Wilson Street to Silver Lake Road; <br /> 4. Pond excavation in rear yard areas north of 30'h Avenue,west of Silver Lake;Road, <br /> and east of Harding Street(referred to as Harding Street Pond); <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of St.Anthony,Minnesota: <br /> 1. A hearing shall beheld on the 13`h day of February,2001 in the City Council <br /> Chambers at 7:00 P.M.,or as soon thereafter as possible,to pass upon such proposed <br /> assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such <br /> improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br /> assessment. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed <br /> assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to <br /> the hearing,and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk <br /> shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> assessment roll not less than 10 days prior to the hearing. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may,at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, <br /> with interest accrued to the date of payment,to the City Clerk,except that no interest <br /> shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid by November 14`h of the assessed year. <br /> The owner may,at any time thereafter,pay to the Finance Director the entire amount <br /> of the assessment remaining unpaid,with interest accrued to December of the year in <br /> which such payment is made.
