As a result, he no longer can serve as the City <br /> Council liaison to the Community Services Advisory Council, and I am requesting the <br /> appointment of another City Council member, effective immediately. <br /> The meetings are held the first Thursday of each month, September through May, from <br /> 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Community Center. Agendas and materials are sent to members <br /> approximately one week prior to the meeting. The City Council liaison is an integral part <br /> of the Advisory Council, with voting privileges and monthly reports-regarding City <br /> issues. As a result of the liaison's role on the.Advisory Council and the importance that <br /> member'lends to the Council, it is essential that the appointee be able to regularly attend <br /> meetings. <br /> Brian has been an active member of the Advisory Council, and has done an excellent job <br /> representing the City. His knowledge of and involvement in City issues, his interest in <br /> Community Services' programs and activities, and his honesty and integrity combined to <br /> make a valuable and conscientious Advisory Council member.
