NARRATIVE <br /> I.Project Design <br /> October 10/11. 2001-Debra Reuter-Pivetta/Flute A prize-winner in the 1999 Concert <br /> Artists Guild Competition, Debra Reuter-Pivetta was the recipient of the first ever Community <br /> Concerts Performance Prize. Principal flutist with the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra(NC) <br /> and the flute instructor at Salem College, Ms.Rueter-Pivetta has performed as soloist and <br /> principal flutist with the Western Piedmont Symphony QKC-)and with the International Music <br /> Program Orchestra on tour of Italy, Switzerland and Germany. She has also performed as soloist <br /> with the Lawton Philharmonic (OK) and the Winston-Salem Piedmont Triad Symphony. Evoking the classic, smooth vocal blend of the 11940's, "Three Hits and a Miss" will <br /> quickly bring to mind the original "Pied Pipers",the "Andrew Sisters" and the "Merry Macs". <br /> With a marvelous selection of hits from the 40's and 50's, "Three Hits and a Miss"pay heartfelt <br /> tribute to such luminaries as Nat King Cole and Judy Garland. The Minnesota State Arts Board Publications,"Folks Artists <br /> Directory" and"Arts Across Minnesota" , are being researched for the selections. <br />
