ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 04-038 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR PHASE 1: 39"AVENUE STREET <br /> AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan <br /> for the above-referenced project,bids were received, opened and tabulated <br /> according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br /> advertisement: <br /> Bidder Total Bid <br /> 1. Veit& Company, Inc. $399,999.00 <br /> 2. Northdale Construction, Inc. $470,256.82 <br /> 3. Barbarossa& Sons, Inc. $518,374.42 <br /> 4. Three Rivers Construction $557,472.42 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Veit & Company, Inc., Rogers, MN is the lowest responsible <br /> bidder. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> with Veit & Company in the amount of$399,999 in the name of the City of St. Anthony, <br /> Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above-referenced project according to the <br /> plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file in the office of <br /> the City Clerk. <br /> 2.
