Motion by 'Makowske, seconded by Marks to waive the second reading, <br /> 16 approve the third reading, and adopt the Ordinance amendment which <br /> 17 would allow two caretaker residences in a mini-warehouse facility. <br /> 18 ORDINANCE 19.87-004 <br /> W19 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CONDITIONAL USES IN THE <br /> 20 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONING CLASSIFICATION, AMENDING <br /> 21 SECTION. 10 , SUBDIVISION 3 , ITEM 7 , OF <br /> 22 APPENDIX I' OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> 23 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 24 Staff to Work With Petitioners on Amusement Arcade Solution <br /> 25 The Council had tabled action September 22nd on the. request from . <br /> 26 American Amusement Arcade dba Picadilly Circus , for a conditional use <br /> 27 permit to allow operation .of an amusement arcade next. door to the . <br /> 28 City' s Apache Wells bar in. the Apache .P.laza Mall, perceiving in- <br /> 29 dividual visits .to the company' s other metropolitan operations might <br /> 30. help. in . making a decision on the request. During the interim, , the, <br /> 31 City Attorney had advised. Councilmember.s relative to the legal <br /> 32 ramifications involved in those decisions. Mr . Childs had summed up <br /> 33 Mr . Soth-' s recommendations in a memorandum in the agenda packet. <br /> 34 Comments made at the opening of the discussion seemed to indicate <br /> 35 there had been little change in Council positions of opposition to the <br /> 36 proximity of the proposed arcade -to the bar or concerns about the co- <br /> 37 mingling of patrons in these two establishments . <br /> 8 Councilmember Marks said conversations with other persons since <br /> 9 . September 22nd had only served to strengthen his conviction that there <br /> 9 <br />
