• 1 REGULAR COUNCIL HIEETING 2 N'CVEMBER 25 , 199 3 PAGE 11 4 5 6 Mayor Ranallo requested the Task Force be called 7 together , with the City Manager presiding, to present o this proposal and to get input and feedback from Task 9 Force meinbers . 10 11 The City Manager stated he would present the material 12 from BRW and inquire if this is what the Task Force had 13 � intended so he could explain the "vision" of the Task 14 Force to BRW. 15 16 9 . NEW BUSINESS 17 18 Appointment to Solid Waste Advisory Committee 19 20 A request had been received from Hennepin County 21 Commissioner Makowske for the City Council to nominate 22 someone to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee . 23 Councilmember Enrooth had been serving on this Committee 24 for some time . 25 41 6 Motion by Marks , second by Fleming to recommend Dick 7 Enrooth to serve on the Hennepin County Solid Waste 28 Advisory Committee . 29 30 Motion carried unanimously 31 32 Councilmember Enrooth stated that presently the Committee 33 is trying to define a basic policy on reimbursements to 34 municipalities in Hennepin County for recycling costs and 35 how to not have that rebating system eliminated. He said 36 that $11 . 00 of the $95 . 00 is used to cover the tipping 37 costs . 38 39 Mayor Ranallo requested that information received from 40 the Committee meetings be reported back to the City ' s 41 Recycling Committee and to the Council . He feels there is 42 a need to keen the Council informed on all of these 43 activities . 44 45 10 .
