Street System Design: Recommend physical improvements to the <br /> intersection of Coolidge, 27th Avenue and Kenzie Terrace with the aim <br /> of improving traffic safety and protecting the residential neighborhood. <br /> B. ,Kenzie Terrace Streetscape Design <br /> 1. Concept Plans: Prepare two or three alternative concept plans for <br /> _ landscaping and pedestrian improvements in the public right-of-way <br /> - along Kenzie Terrace from St.-Anthony Boulevard to Stinson <br /> Boulevard. The degree of refinement of these designs will be <br /> sufficient to assist a discussion among the Council, Planning <br /> Commission and members of the public about the general treatment of <br /> this streetscape, but will not include specific planting plans, cost <br /> estimates, or construction drawings. <br /> C. Public Review and Refinement <br /> 1. Neighborhood Input: Meet in a public forum with members of the <br /> Kenzie Terrace Task Force appointed by the City Council to hear and <br /> "record their ideas on both the commercial-residential transition design <br /> and the Kenzie Terrace streetscape design.. <br /> 2. Review and Refine Recommendations: Hold two more meetings <br /> with the Kenzie Terrace Task Force to review and refine <br /> recommendations for both site planning and streetscape improvements. <br /> 3. Planning Commission and City Council: Meet once with the City <br /> Planning Commission and once with the City Council to review the <br /> Z plans that were approved by the Kenzie Terrace Task Force. <br /> 4. Final Reports: Submit final reports on Tasks A and B to the City <br /> Manager after the City Council comments are received. <br />
