STAFF REPORT <br /> DATE: April 21, 1998 - - - - <br /> TO: Planning Commissioners <br /> FROM: Kim Moore-Sykes, Management Assistant <br /> ITEM: Proposed Point-of-Sale Ordinance. <br /> Attached is a proposed point-of-sale ordinance for the City of St. Anthony. It is a compilation <br /> of ordinances from Bloomington and St. Louis Park. Also attached are copies of housing <br /> evaluation forms that the City of St. Louis Park uses; St. Louis. Park has them in triplicate. <br /> In this packet as well, are informational brochures that St. Louis Park makes available to the <br /> residents regarding the reasons for the inspection program and the procedure. You will notice <br /> some information that is specific to St. Louis Park, such as the requirement for a smoke <br /> detector in every bedroom. I checked with the Fire Chief and he said that St. Anthony <br /> requires smoke detectors on every floor of the dwelling. I will have the Chief, the Public <br /> Works Director and the Building Inspector review and suggest revisions to the brochures so <br /> that they reflect the requirements in St. Anthony. <br /> r <br />
