32 <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> • DATE: 6/9/00 MEETING DATE: 6/20/00 <br /> TO: Planning Commission <br /> FROM: Assistant City Manager Isom <br /> RE: Public Hearing. 4004 Fordham Drive, or Lot 4 Blk 5 Mounds View Acres <br /> Second Addition, Lot Width and Lot Area Variance Request. <br /> David and Pauletta Sperry are again seeking a variance for their property at 4004 Fordham Drive. The <br /> Commission and City Council have previously heard(May 18 and May 25, 1999 respectively) and granted the <br /> Sper y's request for a variance. According to Section 1665.06 of the City of St. Anthony Code of Ordinances, <br /> their variance has expired The Section,in pertinent part reads: "If a variance is granted but the building or other <br /> structure permitted by the variance is not constructed within one(1)year from the date the variance is granted, <br /> the variance will expire and will be of no further force or effect." City Attorney Soth has advised that the <br /> Sperry's must complete a new Petition for Variance and begin the process anew. A Concept Review on this <br /> matter was held at the May 16,2000 Planning Commission meeting. <br /> Staff Recommendation: Staff has received all required documents/fees and recommends approval of the <br /> variance request. <br /> Cc: City Clerk Kroeplin <br /> • <br />
