s® <br /> • This sign may not exceed 30 feet in height, and must have a <br /> minimum clearance of 8 feet from the basic grade level to the <br /> lowest element of the sign surface and may not exceed 150 square . <br /> feet in sign surface area. Such.an establishment will be allowed <br /> one price sign for each frontage having a_curb cut. Such <br /> freestanding sign will be in addition to those signs allowed-in <br /> paragraph 1 of this Subdivision. <br /> (3) Upon submittal of a comprehensive sign plan, and subject to <br /> approval of the Council, a shopping center over 75,000 feet may <br /> have major anchor/tenant ground sign(s) depending upon the <br /> number of major anchors. The total sign area shall not exceed <br /> 300 square feet. <br /> (4) Upon submittal of a comprehensive sign plan, and subject to <br /> approval of the Council, a shopping center over 75,000 square <br /> feet may be allowed additional wall signs for commercial <br /> establishments that need additional exposure from different <br /> vantage points. The number of additional wall signs will not <br /> exceed one half the total number of commercial establishments <br /> and will be allowed a surface sign area of one-half of that which <br /> -• it is allowed. <br /> (5) A commercial establishment located within a shopping center, <br /> having no outside frontage, will be allowed a surface sign area of <br /> one-half of that which it would be allowed if it had outside <br /> frontage. <br /> (6) Commercial establishments will be allowed, in addition to all <br /> other authorized signs, one historical identification symbol, not <br /> exceeding 5 square feet in sign surface area. <br /> (7) Subject to approval of the Council, and as a conditional use, a <br /> movie theater may have a marquee. The total sign area for a . <br /> marquee sign shall not exceed 200 square feet. <br /> (8) Subject to approval of the Council, and submittal of a <br /> comprehensive sign plan, a strip mall under 75,000 square feet <br /> and a shopping center over 75,000 square feet may be allowed a <br /> ground sign with a surface sign area not to exceed 150 square feet. <br /> (9) Upon submittal of a comprehensive sign plan, and subject to <br /> approval of the Council, a major anchor/tenant over 50,000 <br /> square feet in a shopping center over 75,000 square feet may have <br /> 14-14 <br />
