CALL TO ORDER. <br /> 5 Mayor Cavanaugh called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. <br /> 6 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 7 Mayor Cavanaugh invited the Council and the audience to join in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 8 III. ROLL CALL. <br /> 9 Councilmembers present: Mayor Cavanaugh; Councilmembers Sparks,Thuesen, Horst and <br /> 10 Hodson. <br /> 11 Councilmembers absent: None. <br /> 12 Also present: City Manager Mike Morrison; City Attorney Jerry Gilligan. <br /> 13 IV. APPROVAL OF MAY 22,2001 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING AGENDA. <br /> 14 Motion by Mayor Cavanaugh to approve the May 22, 2001 City Council Regular Meeting <br /> 15 Agenda. <br /> 16 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 17 V. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br /> 18 None. <br /> 19 VI. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br /> 20 Mayor Cavanaugh invited any residents in the audience to speak to the Council on items that are <br /> 21 not on the regular agenda. <br /> 22 Hearing no further response, Mayor Cavanaugh moved forward with the agenda. <br /> 23 VII. RAMSEY COUNTY COMMISSIONER JAN WIESSNER will make a presentation on <br /> 24 Ramsey County programs/projects. <br /> 25 Jan Wiessner came forward to address the Council and introduced her assistant,Maryanne Palmer, <br /> 26 who distributed the packet of information that Ms. Wiessner would be reviewing with the Council. <br /> 27 Ms. Wiessner stated she was happy to be back in St. Anthony. <br /> 28 Ms. Wiessner stated she represents District number two for the second time, as she was re-elected <br /> 29 last year. She highlighted some of the contents of the packet: the latest County newsletter, a city <br /> 30 map, the main report, and Ramsey County Update. <br /> 31 Ms.Wiessner reviewed the Parks and Recreation portion of the packet and identified the Long Lake <br /> 32 Regional Park as being the nearest County Park to St. Anthony Village. She made reference to the <br /> 33 Soccer Partners Program that has the Parks and Recreation Department soliciting proposals from <br /> 34 communities for soccer fields. Ms. Wiessner also identified the Silver Lake Camp in St. Anthony <br />
