If a City police officer notifies a dealer not to sell an item, the <br /> item may not be sold or removed from the licensed premises until authorized to be <br /> released by the police. <br /> 565.20 Weapons. A dealer may not receive as a pledge or otherwise accept for <br /> consignment or sale any revolver,pistol, sawed-off shotgun, automatic rifle,blackjack, <br /> switchblade knife, or other.similar weapons or firearms. <br /> 565.21 Payments by Check. When a secondhand goods dealer buys or otherwise <br /> receives an item at the licensed place of business,payment must be made by check <br /> made payable to a named payee who is the actual intended seller. <br /> 565.22 Inspections. A peace officer or any properly designated employee of the City or <br /> the State of Minnesota may enter, inspect and search business premises licensed under <br /> this Section during business hours,without a warrant. <br /> 565.23 County License. Secondhand goods dealers dealing in precious metals and <br /> gems must be licensed by the County. <br /> Section 570 - APARTMENT BUILDINGS <br /> 570.01 Purpose. It is the purpose and intent of this Section 570 is to protect the health <br /> safety and welfare of citizens of the City who have as their place <br /> of abode a living unit in a apartment building and to protect and regulate the living <br /> conditions of citizens residing in apartment buildings in the City. <br /> 570.02 License Required. No person,partnership, corporation or other group or entity <br /> may own or operate a apartment building in the City without the owner first having <br /> obtained a license in accordance with this Section 570. <br /> 570.03 Application for Licenses. Applications for licenses are to be made by the owner <br /> on forms provided by the City. The purchaser of a apartment building may apply as the <br /> 5-37 <br />
