• <br /> O�Ak <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES m 3301 SILVER LAKE ROAD®MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA 55418® PHONE 789-8881 <br /> CITY OF <br /> ST. anTH®ng <br /> FIREFIGHTER .POSITION OPENING <br /> The City of St. Anthony will be accepting applications for the posi- <br /> tion of firefighter for the full time segment of the St. Anthony <br /> Fire Department. <br /> The applications will be limited to only personnel already employed <br /> by the City of St. Anthony whether full time or partial-paid part <br /> time. <br /> The position has an annual starting salary of- $21 ,036 plus other <br /> City benefits . <br /> The individual will be involved with fire prevention, public educa- <br /> tion, emergency medical activities , fire suppression activities . <br /> . The individual who fills this position will be working a 56 hour <br /> average work week revolving on a 24 hour shift arrangement. <br /> Qualifications : The applicant must possess a high school certification <br /> and be willing to be schooled as the need exists . <br /> Must be able to perform the duties of a firefighter. <br /> Must possess a valid Minnesota Driver' s License . <br /> Must be EMT qualified within 1 year of starting date <br /> on the Fire Department. <br /> The selection process will be determined from the results of the <br /> following testing outline: <br /> (A) Written examination (350) . <br /> (B) Physical Agility/Endurance Examination (300) . <br /> (C) Oral Interview (35%) .. <br /> The highest cumulative score will be how the applicant is selected <br /> from the above testing criteria. <br /> Deadline : All applications must be completed and returned to the <br /> St. Anthony City Administration office, 3301 Silver Lake <br /> Road, no later than 4 : 30 P .M. on Friday , the 29th day of <br /> January , 1982 . <br />
