s. <br /> • b: The . bond shall inure to -.the benefit of the City <br /> of St.. Anthony, but- any person injured or <br /> aggrieved or who sustained doss or damages <br /> through fraud, deception, negligence or tortious <br /> conduct on the part of the alarm business, or its <br /> alarm agent, shall have a right to recover <br /> against .the bond in the event of the bankruptcy <br /> or insolvency- of the licensee. <br /> 450:35 Fees. <br /> a. Alarm Business License. An annual license fee of <br /> $50.00 (or such other amount as may be <br /> established from time to time by resolution of <br /> the Council ) shall be due and payable on March 15 <br /> of each year for each alarm business . The <br /> license fee shall not be prorated. <br /> b. Alarm User . An annual license fee in the amount <br /> of $25.00 (or such other amount as may be <br /> established from time to time by resolution of <br /> the Council) shall be due and payable on January <br /> 1st of each year by each alarm user . License <br /> fees will be prorated' on a monthly basis for any <br /> alarm installed subsequent to the effective date <br /> • of the alarm ordinance. <br /> C. Fee Exemptions. The United States Government, <br /> The State of Minnesota, Counties of Hennepin and <br /> Ramsey, City of St. Anthony, or any departments <br /> thereof, are exempt from the fee requirements of <br /> Subsection b of this Section. <br /> d. Responses to False Alarms. <br /> 1. -. Fees for false alarms shall be paid by the <br /> alarm .user - to the City in accordance with <br /> this Subsection d. No fee shall be charged <br /> for a response to an alarm where no false <br /> alarm has occurred within the preceding six <br /> months. <br /> 2. No fee shall be charged for a false alarm <br /> response within six months after a prior <br /> response , but the Chief of Police or his <br /> authorize] representative may inspect the <br /> alarm and prescribe necessary corrective <br /> action. <br /> -- - -5- <br />
