i
i
Our plan is to build a 10' X 10' addition to our home on the West side
facing Coolidge Street N.E. We are on a corner lot facing O
St. Anthony Boulevard and the side of our house is on Coolidge Street.
This addition would be .to our. dinging -room and would allow us to seat
a full -dining table instead of seating the grown ups in the dinng room
and the kids in the kitchen the way we do now.
The addition would be in conformity to the present structure; finished,
in stone. and bricks and would create a small court yard area which would
be enclosed by a wrought iron fence and gate.
As we understand. it, the reason for set backs from the street is .to
allow an unobstructed"sight-line" along the front of all structures on
a.given street. In our instance, however, ,the street. curves in such
_.a manner.- that there really is no "sight-line". In any event, our
proposed addition would be exactly equal to our attached garage, so
there would. be no further protrusion into this "sight-line".
Accordingly, we- request approval of a variance so we may begin
construction around October 15, 1983.
Q
