In looking through our member agreement files , <br /> ";nre'r: tG I find that St. Anthony passed a resolution in 1975 <br /> requesting membership. I am'enclosing a copy of that <br /> scar's :`e:: <br /> e:: <br /> .7 ?ri?. resolution and some related correspondence. For some <br /> l+ortr VE�u reason we have not been carrying St. Anthony on the <br /> Osseo SRA membership roster. I assume that it withdrew <br /> somewhere along the line. <br /> AC SGG>e <br /> ose;—e Interest in SRA activities has grown, and with that <br /> st. LoHis =�L increased interest the breath of activities has also <br /> Sr.G%o:ae expanded. In the next few weeks the SRA will be <br /> intervening in an expected Northwestern Bell Tele- <br /> Shoresccd phone Rate filing. We believe that an action taken <br /> S^tine �Gr� <br /> ia'rG Hezg�-:s by the Public Utilities Commission setting up the <br /> v=o'=TMG present tier system of rates is not defensible, and if <br /> we are successful with our intervention, the savings to <br /> »ood?ard residents of the metropolitan area suburbs could be very. <br /> substantial. <br /> While that benefit is prospective and speculative in <br /> nature, a benefit already realized has been the recent <br /> negotiation with Minnegasco of a uniform gas franchise. <br /> I believe that St. Anthony has been provided with that <br /> franchise. <br /> For the first time in several years, the board has <br /> - .found it necessary to make an assessment of the member- <br /> ship to provide SRA with operating funds. .
