The existing setback is 14.2 feet and <br /> the new setback would be 12.2 feet. (Since it is a corner lot, a 30' sideyard is <br /> required. ) The existing narrow lot is 42.2 feet wide and does not allow a standard <br /> sized home. With a 5' west side setback and a 30' east side setback, a home could <br /> only be 7.2 feet wide without a variance. No objections to the request have been <br /> received. The Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 19, 1984 and has <br /> recommended approval with reasons as presented in the minutes. <br /> ALTERNATIVES : Approve, modify, or deny. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Recommend approval . <br /> • CITY .MANAGER' S REVIEW: COMMENTS : <br />
