Family housing achievements are <br /> considered because the Council's Subsidized Housing Review Guidelines require <br /> that funding of housing for the elderly should only be awarded to communities <br /> that have made significant efforts to achieve the goals for assisted family <br /> housing specified for therm in the Allocation Plan. Significant effort is <br /> defined as the achievement of a community's current or previous Allocation Plan <br /> goal or the submission of an acceptable plan to achieve the current Allocation <br /> Plan goal . Since only Me of the anticipated housing assistance funding has <br /> actually been committed during the 1980-83 Allocation Plan period, however, <br /> this standard will be applied for the current period. <br />
