Mayor Sundland read the letter from the American Red Cross which accompanied a plaque of appreciation from .that .organization for the cooperation and help given them by the City staff when they had been in the City aiding the tornado victims. Mayor Sundland indicated he and the Council had experienced the same degree of cooperation as reflected in the following: Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to express the Mayor and City Council ' s gratitude to the City staff for . their outstanding efforts and aid rendered during the tornado crisis . Motion carried unanimously .
