Army et al relative to the <br /> 6 -City' s water contamination problems. <br /> 7 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 8 Motion by Marks , seconded by Enrooth to approve payment of $3 ,740 . 84 <br /> 9 to BWBR Architects for St. Anthony liquor warehouse construction <br /> 10 administration through September 23 , 1987• to be paid for from the <br /> 11 Liquor Fund. <br /> 12 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 13 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to approve payment of. $85 ,751 . 00 <br /> 14 to Fullerton Lumber Co. for construction services on the liquor <br /> 15 ' warehouse addition from August 31 to October 30 , 1987 , .also to be paid <br /> 16 from the Liquor Fund. <br /> 17 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 18 Motion by Enrooth, seconded by Marks to approve payment of $878 . 75 to <br /> 19 the Dorsey & Whitney law firm for legal services rendered from <br /> 20 September 1 through September 30 , 1987 . <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 23 Motion by Marks , seconded by Makowske to approve payment of $2 , 200 to <br /> 24 the Hance & LeVahn law firm for legal services rendered for the month <br /> 25 of November , 1987 , relative to St. Anthony prosecutions. <br /> 26 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 27 Cable Commission Representative Urges Council Meetings Be Televised <br /> 28 Bootsie Anderson, North Suburban Cable Commission' s Administrator had <br /> 29 requested she be allowed to address the Council relative to the <br /> 30 problems they and other members of the ten communities who- were served <br /> 31 by the Commission were experiencing with the new TV North Central <br /> 32 Cable Company. She acknowledged the cable company was "failing. <br /> 33 miserably" when it came to service or response to subscribers com <br /> 34 plaints and indicated the quickest way to get something done would be <br /> 35 to call her at the Falcon Heights City Hall number and let her make <br /> 36 the contact . Ms . Anderson said that way she" would have a record to <br /> 37 confront the cable company with when they again applied to seek new <br /> 38 customers . She also indicated Congress had seen the mistake they had <br /> 39 made with the Cable Company Public Act of 1986 and information like <br /> 40 this would support efforts to return to local control of cable. <br /> 41 companies . <br /> • <br /> 2 <br />
