Job Services,, which is managed through Twin City Tree Trust, <br /> has hired several young persons to work on the playground <br /> equipment and the tennis courts. Adults from the service <br /> will work on median plantings. <br /> 8. The Public Works Department will sealcoat 27th Avenue N.E. <br /> to 31st Avenue N.E. , including all the alleys, on the west <br /> side of Silver Lake Road beginning this summer. All con- <br /> crete roads will be crack-filled with a new (non-trackable) <br /> material. <br /> 9. The City of Vadnais Heights may take 7 of the old voting <br /> machines. <br /> David Childs <br /> 1. Two items concerning Mickey D's Restaurant: <br /> a. The lettering has been removed and will be so noted <br /> in the City's records; <br /> • b. the owner has already been tagged by the police because <br /> of violations created by the vestibule (which is still <br /> up) , therefore, future legal actions will be sought. <br /> 2. Mr. Childs extended his appreciation to Lois Davis, Bob <br /> Lee, Steve Koes, Connie Kroeplin and everyone who helped <br /> with "Cities Week" . <br /> 3 . St. Anthony is scheduled to sponsor the Hospitality Room <br /> during the League of Minnesota Cities Conference, June 7th <br /> and 8th. Mr. Childs suggested Ray check into this and that <br /> the newly-hired intern could possibly assist him. <br /> 4 . Some other jobs for the intern: <br /> a. new phone system; <br /> b. cable TV; <br /> C. NSP and Minnegasco franchises; <br /> d. entrance sign for the City, etc. <br /> 5. The agreement between the City and School regarding the <br /> Parkview facility is being worked on by the attorneys. <br /> Mr. Childs explained some of the items in the proposed <br /> agreement. <br /> • <br />
