• STAFF MEETING NOTES <br /> OCTOBER 4, 1988 <br /> The meeting began at 10:00 A.M. Those present were Ray Nelson, <br /> Sue VanderHeyden, Connie Kroeplin, Dave Childs, Larry Hamer, Lee <br /> Entner, and Don Hickerson. <br /> Ray Nelson <br /> 1. "Spuds" , of Spuds McKenzie fame, will be present on October <br /> 13th when the Stonehouse will sponsor a "Spuds McKenzie Night" <br /> from 8 P.M. to it P.M. <br /> Lee Entner <br /> 1 . October 13th will also be the night the Fire, Department will <br /> hold Open House at the Fire Station from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. <br /> 2 . Fire personnel is seeking quotes from different companies <br /> for new windows, upgrading the exterior walls and a new heating, <br /> ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC) for the Fire <br /> Station. <br /> Larry Hamer <br /> • 1 . Mr. Hamer's oldest son, Steve, has plans to be married on <br /> December 10th. <br /> 2. A new house is being constructed on Belden Drive. <br /> 3. Several people have complimented the work being done on the <br /> medians (which Vill be completed shortly) . <br /> 4 . The hockey rinks will be put up soon. There will be hockey <br /> rinks at Emerald and Silver Point Parks but no hockey at Central <br /> Park until the temporary carbon filter plant is removed. <br /> 5. Unless the weather warms up a great deal , the tennis courts <br /> will be painted next spring. <br /> 6. Another phase of construction on the mausoleum at. Sunset. <br /> Memorial is underway. <br /> 7. The City's workers compensation carrier inspected the City <br /> facilities last week and indicated no major problems. <br /> 8. Construction on the new strip mall located at 39th and <br /> Stinson is nearing completion. <br /> • <br />
