• STAFF MEETING NOTES <br /> JANUARY 9, 1989 <br /> The meeting began at 10:45 A.M. Those present were Larry Hamer, <br /> Don Hickerson, Lee Entner, Sue VanderHeyden, Dave Childs, and <br /> Connie Kroeplin. Ray Nelson was absent. <br /> Don Hickerson <br /> 1. The new computer has been installed. A printer and word <br /> processing software remain to be purchased. <br /> 2. The two new police officers will be introduced to the <br /> Council at the January 10th meeting-.- <br /> 3 . The residence located at 29th and Crestview, after numerous <br /> notifications of Ordinance violations, has finally cleaned <br /> up some of the violation causes, , after Officer Cotroneo <br /> spoke to the owner. <br /> 4. The Reserves will be organizing more blocks into . Crime Watch <br /> areas. <br /> Sue VanderHeyden <br /> • 1. The City's certification document regarding the Affirmative <br /> Action Plan should be delivered soon: <br /> 2. A committee has met to plan a "VillageFest" , float, queen <br /> candidates and "Taste of St. Anthony" . An article <br /> describing the purpose of the committee has been included in <br /> the Newsletter. <br /> Lee Entner <br /> 1. As soon as Council approval is received for the ceiling, <br /> windows, etc. , remodeling at the Fire Station will continue. <br /> Larry Hamer <br /> 1. All the businesses which had been at the St. Anthony <br /> Shopping Center and were in line for relocation are out of <br /> that area. <br /> 2. A Calgon representative will be here next week to repair an <br /> air problem and meter problem at the filtration facility. <br /> 3. Jim Lorbeski attended a Safety Seminar. The emphasis was on <br /> back problems and lifting correctly. He will advise the <br /> Public Works employees on the content of the seminar. '" <br />
