• STAFF MEETING NOTES <br /> OCTOBER 3, 1989 <br /> The- meeting began at 10:10 a.m. Those present were Larry Hamer, <br /> Don Hickerson, Ray Nelson, Lee Entner, Connie Kroeplin, and Sue <br /> VanderHeyden. <br /> Don Hickerson <br /> 1. Chief Hickerson. expects the re-lettering on the squads to be <br /> completed today. <br /> 2. The recent Neighborhood Crime Watch meeting held by Apache <br /> Court residents was one of the largest attended in the <br /> Village. <br /> Ray Nelson <br /> 1 . KSTP-TV will be filming a promotional spot for the <br /> Timberwolves tonight at the Stonehouse. <br /> 2 . Work at the Apache Wells has had some delays, but is <br /> • progressing nicely now. <br /> Larry Hamer <br /> 1. An engineering firm from the MPCA has installed a monitoring <br /> device on the easterly side of the Kenzington and has not <br /> found groundwater contamination in that area. <br /> 2 . Jim Brost, who had back surgery, will return to work in 3 or <br /> 4 weeks. <br /> 3. The aerial unit is ready and tree trimming will be done <br /> throughout the Village until it snows. The streets will be <br /> swept as needed. <br /> 4. The new Evergreen owner, Nedegaard Construction, expects the <br /> project to be completed by December, 1990. <br /> 5. A new leaf recycling unit has been ordered. The leaves will <br /> need to be hauled away at a cost of $95/hour. It takes about <br /> two hours each time the leaves are hauled away. <br /> 6. Specifications for new iron removal filters are - being <br /> prepared. <br /> 7. The sprinkling ban has been lifted. <br />
