ANTHONY <br /> 2 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> 3 <br /> 4 AUGUST 21, 1990 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge of <br /> 7 Allegiance led.by Chairman Madden. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 ROLL CALL <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Present: Brownell, Faust, Franzese, Hansen, Madden, Murphy, Werenicz <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Also present: Tom Burt, City Manager and Susan VanderHeyden, <br /> 14 Assistant to the City Manager <br /> 15 <br /> 16 JUNE 19. 1990 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Motion to approve the minutes of the June 19, 1990 Planning <br /> 19 Commission minutes. <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 CHAIRMAN MADDEN TO REPRESENT PLANNING COMMISSION AT <br /> 23 SEPTEMBER 25, 1990 CITY COUNCIL MEETING. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Chairman Madden announced that Commissioner Jerry Faust attended the <br /> 26 last City Council meeting in his place. Madden will attend the next <br /> 27 Council meeting. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Chairman Madden commented that the Mirror Lake Bridge was fixed. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> 32 <br /> 33 DALE McKENZIE FOR VIDEO WORLD, FOR 3511 STINSON <br /> 34 BOULEVARD, CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The hearing was opened at 7:35 with no one present reporting failure to <br /> 37 receive the notice of hearing or objecting to its content. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Assistant to the City Manager VanderHeyden reported that Dale McKenzie <br /> 40 is requesting a new conditional use permit to relocate. He is moving from <br /> 41 Apache Plaza to the strip mail, 3811 Stinson Boulevard.. He has been <br /> 42 located at Apache for six years with no problems or complaints. <br /> 43 <br /> • 44 McKenzie said he would like his business to expand and therefore needs <br /> 45 the additional 1,000 square feet which will afford him more selling space. <br />
