This document is prepared by the American <br /> Institute of Architects, and tends to favor the architect, rather than the.owner, in <br /> various respects. I have prepared a form of contract which I think we should use. It <br /> is in the same general format as the standard AIA form, but I think it is more <br /> balanced between the owner and the architect. I believe we should use this rather <br /> than the standard form. <br /> I am enclosing a copy of my draft of the contract. As you can see, a number of <br /> items need to be dealt with by way of exhibits, but this is a form of contract that the <br /> architect could review. <br /> If you have any questions or comments on the proposed contract, please let <br /> me know.
