AGREEMENT FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE <br /> OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS <br /> AGREEMENT NO. 94011 <br /> Estimated Amount Receivable <br /> from City of St . Anthony $1 '- . °'5 . 00 <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between the County <br /> of Ramsey, Department of Public Works , hereinafter referred to as <br /> the "County" , and the City of St . Anthony, hereinafter referred to <br /> as the "City" ; <br /> 14ITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, the County has determined that there is justification <br /> and it is in the public' s best interest to revise traffic control <br /> signals. with street lights and signs on Silver Lake Road ( County <br /> State Aid Highway No. 44 ) at 39th Avenue Northeast; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County has determined that there is justification <br /> and it is in the public' s best interest to install interconnect <br /> along Silver Lake Road (County State Aid Highway No. 44 ) from <br /> County Road D/37th Avenue Northeast to Silver Lane ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there. exists in full force and effect Cooperative <br /> Traffic Signal Agreement, County Board Resolution 75-163 dated <br /> February 18, 1975 , entered into by and between the County and City <br /> to share the cost, maintenance and operation of a traffic control <br /> signal at the intersection of Silver Lake Road and 39th Avenue <br /> Northeast; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County and City will participate in the cost , <br /> maintenance and operation of said traffic control signal with street <br /> lights and interconnect as hereinafter set forth; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The County shall prepare the necessary plans, <br /> specifications and proposals and shall perform the engineering and <br /> inspection required to complete the items of work hereinafter set <br /> forth. Such work as described immediately above shall constitute <br /> "Engineering and Inspection" and shall be so referred to <br /> hereinafter. <br /> 2 . The contract cost of the work or, if the work is not <br /> contracted, the cost of all labor, materials and equipment rental <br /> required to complete the work, except the cost of providing the <br /> power supply to the service pole or pad shall constitute the actual <br /> "Construction Cost" and shall be so referred to hereinafter . <br /> 94011-1 <br />
