Liz Hermann
stated she was also unaware of this. She understood the meeting on Thursday was to
discuss storage for oversized mattresses.
Ms. Knapp stated the meeting was to discuss storage of the mats the children sleep on.
Mayor Ranallo noted that change orders are very expensive. The agreement between the
City of St. Anthony and Community Services was that the same amount of space would
be provided in the new building that is currently available in this building. •
Ms. Knapp stated there is not enough storage in the current facility. She initially did not
measure the storage requirement and did not state the amount of storage necessary, only
the type of storage needed. When the plans were drawn and she saw the amount of
storage, she realized it would not even be adequate for their needs.
Mayor Ranallo stated the City would not be able to pay for any further storage space
beyond what was before them for consideration this evening. The City did agree to
provide Community Services with this amount of storage space.
Motion by Wagner, second by Enrooth to approve Change Order#5 for Community
Services casework in the amount of$18,184.00.
Motion carried unanimously.
C.
