The public
hearing will be held at the St. Anthony City Hall at 7:00 PM.
The City is proposing to issue abatement bonds in an estimated amount of$625,000. These
funds would be targeted to assist in the redevelopment of Central Park. The bonds proposed to
be issued would be for 15 years, based on the opinion that Ramsey and Hennepin Counties will
not participate in the tax abatement with the City. The City is requesting a written response by
each county, as required by law, that the county will or will not participate in the tax
abatement prior to our November 28, 2000 public hearing.
. .Thank you for your attention to. this matter, and if you have any questions or comments about
this proposal, please feel free to contact ine.
Sincerely,
rr
Michael J. Mornson
City Manager
