ANTHONY <br /> AND INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 282 <br /> NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony(the"City"), and <br /> the School Board of Independent School District No. 282 (the "District"), will jointly hold a <br /> public hearing on Tuesday,November 28, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in <br /> the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Road, to.consider the granting of a tax <br /> abatement by the City and District of the property taxes imposed by the City and the District with <br /> respect to the Evergreen Townhomes and Village Townhomes developments located in the City <br /> and presently included in tax increment financing districts of the dousing and Redevelopment <br /> Authority of St. Anthony. The parcels for which a tax abatement is under consideration consist <br /> of the parcels in Hennepin County which have property identification numbers from <br /> 06-029-23-41-102 through 06-029-23-41-0133, and the parcels in Ramsey County which have <br /> property identification numbers from 31-30-23-41-0184 through 31-30-23-41-0221. The <br /> purpose of the abatement is to provide funds to pay the principal and interest on bonds to be <br /> issued,by the City in the estimated principal amount of$625,000 to pay a portion of the costs of <br /> the redevelopment of Central Park. The total estimated amount of the abatement by the City and <br /> School District is $1,000,000. <br /> Anyone wishing to be heard with.reference to the above matter will be heard at said time and <br /> place. Questions regarding this matter may be referred to the Assistant City Manager at <br /> 612-789-8881. Auxiliary aids are available upon request at least 96 hours in advance of the <br /> meeting.
