RESOLUTION 00-012 <br /> • A RESOLUTION RELATING TO BUSINESS SUBSIDIES• <br /> CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE GRANTING <br /> OF BUSINESS SUBSIDY <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Housing and Redevelopment Authority of St. <br /> Anthony, Minnesota (the "HRA"), as follows: <br /> SECTION 1. RECITALS <br /> 1.01. Minnesota Statutes, Sections 116J.993.to.116J.995 (the "Act"), provides that the HRA, <br /> as a local government agency within the meaning of the Act, before granting a business subsidy, <br /> within the meaning of the Act, that exceeds $100,000 must provide public notice and a hearing on the <br /> subsidy. <br /> 1.02. Told Development has requested that the HRA provide tax increment financing <br /> assistance to it or a related entity in connection with the proposed acquisition and rehabilitation of the <br /> northwest corner of 37' Avenue NE and Silver Lake Road in the City of st. Anthony . <br /> SECTION 2. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> 2.01. A.public hearing on the granting of a business subsidy in the form.of tax increment <br /> financing assistance in connection with the proposed acquisition and rehabilitation of the northwest <br /> corner of 37`h Avenue NE and Silver Lake Road is hereby called and shall be held on Tuesday, <br /> January 9, 2001, at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers in the St. Anthony City Administrative <br /> Offices, 3301 Silver Lake Road in the City of St. Anthony. <br /> 2.02. The Executive Director shall cause notice of the public hearing to be published in the <br /> official newspaper of the HRA and a newspaper of general circulation in the City of St. Anthony at <br /> least once not less than 10 days prior to the date fixed for the public hearing. <br /> 2.03. Information about the proposed business subsidy, including a draft copy of the <br /> proposed business subsidy agreement, shall be available for public inspection following publication of <br /> the notice of public hearing, at the St. Anthony-City Administrative Offices, between the hours of <br /> 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, on normal business days. . <br /> Adopted this day of , 2000. <br /> Chair <br /> • <br /> Executive Director <br />
