Took residents to court and were successful. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Councilmember Faust applauded Chief Hewitt on the Empowerment program. He asked <br /> 29 Hewitt to elaborate on the ISO Town Class reduction and what it means. Hewitt stated <br /> 30 that the ISO Town Class reduction would mean a savings to commercial properties. He <br /> 31 stated that ISO Town Class is a scale of fire services/protection, rated by the insurance <br /> 32 services offices. Hewitt added that it would be a good tool for St. Anthony to help <br /> 33 maintain and lure businesses. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Councilmember Thuesen commended Chief Hewitt on his excellent leadership skills. He <br /> 36 thanked both the Fire and Police Departments for their professionalism and for caring <br /> 37 about the community. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Councilmember Sparks asked about the Public Works assisting the Fire Department. <br /> 40 Hewitt indicated that they eliminated that partnership on January 1, 2002 due to liability <br /> 41 issues. He added that the Fire Department has offered an incentive for any city employee <br /> 42 to be a daytime firefighter and stated that, currently, there are three city employees at this <br /> 43. time. <br /> 44 <br />
