ANTHONY 2 3 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 4 - 5 DECEMBER 8, 2003 6 7 CALL TO ORDER F 8 Mayor Hodson called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. 9 10 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 11 Mayor Hodson invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 12 13 ROLL CALL. 14 Present: Mayor Hodson; Councilmembers Horst, Sparks, Thuesen, and Faust. 15 Absent: None. 16 Also Present: City Manager Mike Mornson. 17 18 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION,AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 19 ITEMS. 20 21 I. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 8, 2003, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 22 Motion by Councilmember Sparks, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen,to approve the City 23 Council Meeting Agenda of December 8, 2003. 24 25 Motion carried unanimously. 26 27 H. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 28 A. Presentation of an Appreciation Plaque to Councilmember Amy parks 29 Mayor Hodson presented Councilmember Sparks with-a plaque to express grateful appreciation 30 for her years of service. Councilmember Sparks stated she wanted to encourage more people to 31 run for office, as it was a wonderful experience. 32 33 III. COMMUNITY FORUM. 34 Mayor Hodson invited residents to come forward at this time to address Council regarding items 35 that were not on the regular agenda. 36 37 Dennis Cavanaugh, 2909 St. Anthony Boulevard, stated he wished to thank Councilmember 38 Sparks for her years of service. He added Councilmember Sparks was involved with the 39 community in a very deep way and he appreciated what she did for-the City. He indicated he 40 hoped Councilmember Sparks would continue with her many other activities, as St. Anthony 41 Village really needed her. 42 43 IV. CONSENT AGENDA. 44 A. _Approve November 25, 2003,regular Council meeting minutes. 45 B. Consider licenses and permits. 46 C. Consider payment of claims.
