Wouldn' t want to see a "concrete jungle <br /> 23 out there. " ; <br /> 24 <br /> 25 -thinks the .City is flirting with just that with this <br /> 26 Ordinance if some landscaping is not required - as <br /> 27 well; = <br /> 28 <br /> 29 -wanted setbacks from the property lines and struc- <br /> - <br /> 30 tures better defined to correct the impression that <br /> 31 the property owner can control access to the City' s <br /> 32 boulevard next to the road; <br /> 33 <br /> 34 suggested paved areas not be allowed within a stated <br /> 35 distance from the property lines to avoid problems . <br /> 36 ' with snow storage, etc. and to assure people like <br /> 37 joggers to use the boulevards., <br /> 38 <br /> 39 -the setback from the structure would assure that no <br /> 40 damage: -occurred to the residence from fire or an <br /> 41 explosion in a car parked in. a paved .area too close <br /> 42 to the structure; <br /> _ 43 <br /> - 44 -Commissioner Hansen later questioned this suggestion, <br /> 45 saying there are no restrictions against parking <br /> 46 cars next to structures' in attached garages. or on' <br /> 47 driveways close . to the homes <br /> 48 <br /> 49 suggested the City should research other cities to <br /> 50 . ' protect St. Anthony ' from challenges to the new Ordin- <br /> 51 ances.
