Police Chief Hickerson - had compared bids from two animal control vendors in his December 16th memorandum and gave the reasons he had perceived for awarding the contract to the above. Mr. Childs indicated .the City' s costs the past few , years seemed to warrant the use of a vendor who did not charge a monthly maintenance fee. He also advised the City Attorney had some changes he wanted to make in the . wording of the contract. Council Action Motion by. Ranallo, . seconded by Marks to authorize the signing of the proposed contract with Lake Animal- Care, Inc. after the City Attorney has made the- changes in the wording he considers necessary.
