Officer <br /> Puffer was scheduled to be held at 6 : 30 P.M. the following Monday. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> • Lake Animal Care; Inc Selected for City' s Animal Control in 1987. <br /> Police Chief Hickerson - had compared bids from two animal control <br /> vendors in his December 16th memorandum and gave the reasons he had <br /> perceived for awarding the contract to the above. Mr. Childs indicated <br /> .the City' s costs the past few , years seemed to warrant the use of a <br /> vendor who did not charge a monthly maintenance fee. He also advised <br /> the City Attorney had some changes he wanted to make in the . wording of <br /> the contract. <br /> Council Action <br /> Motion by. Ranallo, . seconded by Marks to authorize the signing of the <br /> proposed contract with Lake Animal- Care, Inc. after the City Attorney <br /> has made the- changes in the wording he considers necessary. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Council Authorizes - the Purchase of 'a New Squad Car <br /> Police Chief- H'ickerson' had described .in his December 22nd memorandum <br /> the vehicle -he was recommending be outfitted for a squad car: for .his <br /> departinerit. He had also pointed out . that. ..the -low - bid submitted by <br /> Hawkins: Polar' Chevrolet. through Hennepin,:C6Urity was less than the City <br /> had budgeted for,' that purchase. Mr. .
