Attorney <br /> 7 Richard Krier, Development Advisory Services, <br /> 8 Consultant <br /> 9 JANUARY 26, 1988 H.R.A. MINUTES <br /> 10 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to approve the above as <br /> 11 submitted. <br /> 12 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 13 CLAIMS <br /> 14 Motion by Marks , seconded by Makowske to approve payment of $2 , 210 . 00 <br /> 15 to Stuart J. Bonniwell for services rendered the H.R.A. for the 1986 <br /> 16 H.R.A. audit. <br /> 17 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 18 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to .approve payment of $500. 40 to <br /> 19 the Dorsey & Whitney law firm for legal services rendered the H.R.A. <br /> 20 during December, 1987 . <br /> 21 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 22 KENZIE TERRACE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT UPDATE - RICHARD KRIER <br /> 23 Both interested developers , Gaughan and Lang Nelson are still seeking <br /> 24 financing for the project. Neither has found financing yet. <br /> 25 Because Gaughan seemed to be dragging its feet to acquire financing <br /> 26 for the project, Lang Nelson was approached in December as to their <br /> 27 interest. Lang Nelson will put up $10 ,000 to assure they will find <br /> 28 financing in 45 days. <br /> 29 Gaughan has contacted Midland, based in Des Moines, who indicated they <br /> 30 would finance at 9-1/4%. Gaughan decided to drop them. First Bank <br /> 31 was also contacted and indicated they would not want to do a "lower <br /> 32 floater" type of deal. <br /> 33 HUD indicated the SAMA (site/market analysis) sounded favorable <br /> 34 (considers the market, the rents, and the people) .
