I would revise Section 1400.08, Subd. 1 <br /> to read as follows: <br /> Subd. 1. Political Signs. All noncommercial signs of any size maybe posted <br /> from August 1 in a State general election year until 10 days following the <br /> State general election. For Independent School District No. 282 elections, all <br /> noncommercial signs of any size may be posted from April 1 in a school <br /> election year until ten days following the school election, which is the third <br /> Tuesday in May of every year. Political signs are not allowed in the street <br /> rights-of-way. <br /> There were a number of questions at the last meeting regarding nonconforming <br /> signs, etc. I am enclosing my letters of August 14, 1992 and August 26, 1992, which deal <br /> with these issues. <br /> If you have any further questions on this, please let me know. <br /> Very t ly yours, <br /> WRS:gle William R.
