■ <br /> ■ CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION <br /> ■ THE STUDYAREA <br /> Frulle' Ne.v .. <br /> The Village at St. Anthony is <br /> a 50-acre redevelopment + e <br /> ;Nnitr-p - Study A'de H K <br /> area within the 250-acre Area <br /> Northwest Quadrant of the Salvation <br /> City of St. Anthony Village. <br /> The area is bounded on the Z Ros•M. • <br /> ■ east by Silver Lake Road,the <br /> north by Silver Lane,the west ��a.roale <br /> ■ by Stinson Boulevard,and the i <br /> south by the railroad tracks <br /> that are north of 37'h Avenue. <br /> Silver Lake <br /> - - - . . <br /> The entire Northwest Quadrant comprises 15% of the total <br /> ■ area of the City of St.Anthony Village and contains the entire <br /> cross section of uses present in the city and can be broken <br />■ into three distinct sections. The north section is a 70 acre, <br />. park-like area that has been operated by Salvation Army as <br /> a camp site and conference facility for over 75 years. The <br /> middle section is made up of Silver Lake, an approximately <br /> 75 acre body of water, and a small neighborhood of single <br /> family homes along the south shore of the lake.
