T- !ASLIFTSS: DATE: V 1.1 SCALI: PROCEDURES 1. Applicant must apply for a Natural Lawn Application in the Building Inspection Department at the permit counter. 2. Applicant fills out the application. Identifying the types of plants which you intend to grow. Noxious weeds are not permitted. They are Thistles, Leafy Spurge, Field Bindweed and Ragweed. 3. Mail or give personally a copy of your application to each of the owners listed on the bottom of your application. 4. - Applicant shall certify under oath to a notary 'public in the Building Inspection Division that owners within 200 feet have duly been notified, the manner in which they were notified and the date they were notified. 5. The neighbors within 200 feet of the property have 15 days from the day that they receive the application to file a written objection stating the reasons why they object to the natural lawn. The written objection must be sent to the Superintendnent of the Building Inspection Department. 6. If 51 % of the neighbors object to the Natural Lawn the Superintendent of Building Inspection will refer it to the Urban Design Committee. The Building Inspection Department will notify the owner whether or not the application has been denied or approved. If the Urban Design Committee approves the application along with the Building Inspection Department the natural lawn is approved. 7. -If the Superintendent of Building Inspection Department denies application the owner may appeal it, to the Urban Design Committee. The appeal forms are avaiable in the Iling Inspection Department.
