Water Rates . Water bills shall be computed quarterly <br /> at the following rates for water used as indicated by the meter <br /> supplying each water service : <br /> Commercial and Residential $. 40 per hundred cubic <br /> uses feet or any fraction thereof <br /> • Building Construction $. 55 per 1 ,000 gallons or <br /> uses any fraction thereof <br /> Subd. 3 . Minimum Charges . A minimum charge of $4 . 0-0- per quarter <br /> is hereby established for all premises served, to cover water' <br /> pumpage , bookkeeping expenses , and meter rental . All water sold <br /> shall be on the basis of meter readings except in the case of <br /> minimum charges ; provided, however, if deemed necessary , a flat <br /> rate of not less than the minimum charge may be established by <br /> the Council . <br /> Section 2 .
