7. In the event an animal impounded and boarded by order of the City Health Officer or placed <br /> under quarantine by ruling of the State Board of Health, said animal shall be boarded as <br /> required by said order or ruling. At the end of such period, the City releases all of its interests, <br /> right and control over said animals which may then be disposed of at the discretion of <br /> Contractor. In the event that any dogs, cats, or other impounded animals are unclaimed after <br /> five (5) days.they shall become the property of Contract and may be disposed of or sold at their <br /> discretion. All proceeds from the disposition of such animals may be retained by Contractor. <br /> including any proceeds received from any animals disposed of in accordance to Minnesota <br /> Statutes 35.71. <br /> 8. The City shall furnish to Contractor all license forms, pound receipts and license tags as <br /> specified in the Ordinance and Contractor shall keep records of all animals impounded <br /> together with a description of the same. <br /> 9. Contractor shall furnish all vehicles with two way radios and/or other communication <br /> equipment and agrees to service and maintain said equipment. <br /> 10. Upon request, Contractor shall provide to the City proof of public liability insurance including <br /> comprehensive automobile liability in an amount of at least $100,000 per each claimant and <br /> S300,000 per occurrence. <br /> 11. Contractor agrees that during the period of this contract it will not, within the State of • <br /> Minnesota, discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, <br /> color. creed, sex, national origin, or ancestry and will include a similar provision in all <br /> subcontracts entered into for the performance hereof. This paragraph is inserted in this <br /> contract to comply with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 181.59. <br /> 12. The City agrees to pay Contractor for services in the performance of this contract as follows: <br /> a. Base fee for Administrative Services (per month) /X-; <br /> b. Price per hour per ambulance for furnishing Patrol Ambulance for schedLded <br /> patrol, (actual time in service for the City) <br /> c. Price for each 24 hours or fraction thereof for boarding any species of <br /> animal impounded by direction of City officials or local ordinance. <br /> $ �� <br /> d. Price per animal for destroying dogs or cats. <br /> e. Price per hour per ambulance for service during other than scheduled or <br /> regular working hours including travel time (Special Service). Minimum call, <br /> one hour. <br />
