MEMORANDUM DATE : December 28 , 1983 TO: Planning Commission Members FROM: David M. Childs , City Manager SUBJECT: Elmwood Lutheran Church Conditional Use Request ---------------------------------------------------------------------- At the request of the City Council , a special meeting of the Planning Commission has been called for Tuesday , January 3 , 1984 , at 7 : 30 P .M. The purpose of the meeting is for consideration of the Conditional Use request from Elmwood Church to construct an addition to their property at 3615 Chelmsford Road . As you may remember, the Planning Commission recommended denial of this request last summer due to objections of the neighbors and the size of the addition versus its proximity to tho neighbors . Since that time , the Church and neighbors have met and resolved all • concerns about the proposal . The Church arreos to provide lanCscapinq on t'-.e south side of t:1t build:inq of a low maintenance type to alleviate mowing problems on the steep embankment and to soften the impact of the church building on the neighboring properties .
