P.M. Ford Fire Pumper to the General Safety Equipment Corporation. <br /> This pumper will replace (6982) our 1956 F. W.D. Pumper. <br /> We evaluated the (four) lowest bids that were submitted and the bids <br /> were as follows : <br /> 3-D GENERAL CUSTOM PIERCE <br /> Basic Unit Bid Price ($114 ,470) ($119 , 775) ($ 120, 541) (122 ,646) <br /> (To each of the 5 cities) <br /> The evaluation/selection process was accomplished through established <br /> criteria that was set forth in our specifications prior to going out <br /> for bids . <br /> • The recommendation to award the contract to General Safety Equipment <br /> Corporation, instead of 3-D was determined because of the following : <br /> ( 1) Completeness of Proposal <br /> (2) Commitment to Warranty <br /> ( 3) 'Desion and Engineering Data <br /> (4) Planning Documentation (Drawings & Schematics) <br /> (S) Logistical Support (Minnesota vs . Wisconsin) <br /> (6) Pre-payment of Cab/Chassis not required <br /> (7) Delivery <br /> The following summary of costs for the new 1250. Pumper to be <br /> manufactured by General Safety Equipment Corporation, and delivered <br /> to the City of St .
