Those present were Don Nickerson, Dave Childs, <br /> Larry Hamer, Lee Entner, Connie Kroeplin, Carol Johnson, and Ray Nelson. <br /> Larry Hamer reported the Public Works Department is in the process of painting <br /> a fire truck for the Fire Department and should be finished by the end of this <br /> week (.October 18-19) . <br /> Ray Nelson indicated all the liquor operations are open. He said business at <br /> the Apache bottle shop is progressing and that the bar is doing so at an even <br /> • more rapid pace. Mr. Nelson also noted the cheese shop appears to be doing well . <br /> Lee Entner has recently appointed John Delmonico as the Fire Department Reserve <br /> Assistant Chief. Delivery of the cab and chassis for the new fire pumper <br /> could be possible in December or January, however, Chief Entner indicated he <br /> was not given a definite date. Disposition of the 1956 FWD pumper (the oldest) <br /> was discussed. The old pumper could be kept and used in parades, etc. , or <br /> could be sold. Chief Entner has already been contacted concerning selling the <br /> pumper. <br /> Carol Johnson reported preparations for the upcoming General Election are in <br /> full swing. <br /> Don Nickerson indicated the performance evaluation system for police personnel <br /> is in the process of being revamped. He also said Officer Puffer will return <br /> to work in about three weeks . <br /> Dave Childs led a discussion on arrangements for the annual Christmas party. <br /> Each department volunteered to be responsible for different duties, i .e. , <br /> food-front office; location-fire department, etc. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 10:25 A.M. <br /> • <br /> cjk <br />
