MWCC INDEPENDENT MANAGEMENT STUDY - IN PROGRESS : <br /> f <br /> The firm of Touche Ross & Company was selected to <br /> conduct the independent management study of the <br /> Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWCC) and said <br /> t study is now underway. This study is a very high <br /> priority of the AMM and we are monitoring the study <br /> very closely. We also want to provide you with the <br /> opportunity to make your concerns known !Attached to this <br /> bulletin is an outline which identifies the key issues <br /> r to be addressed during the course of the study . Please <br /> review this material and if you think there are other <br /> 4 issues or items which need to be examined ,please send <br /> g <br /> your concerns , recommendations, suggestions , etc. in <br /> written form to Vern Peterson at the AMM Office by no <br /> later than October 29 , 1984 . We will make sure that all <br /> input received is forwarded to the appropriate personnel <br /> at Touche Ross & Company. This is your chance to <br /> impact this much needed study ! <br /> I <br /> 2. METROPOLITAN COUNCIL HOUSING GUIDE POLICY PLAN REVIEW: <br /> 0 <br /> l As reported in the last AMM Bulletin, the Metropolitan <br /> Council is in the process of revising its Housing Guide <br /> Policy Plan. The AMM' s Housing Committee and Board of <br /> Directors are monitoring the policy plan revision <br /> process very closely. A report identifying the AMM <br /> j concerns and recommendations is being prepared and <br /> i copies of the report will be sent to each member city <br /> early in November. A metro council "Public Hearing" to <br /> receive input is tentatively scheduled for November <br /> 29th. and your city should receive a copy from the <br /> Metropolitan Council of the policy plan hearing draft in <br /> early November. Please review it and the AMM' s report , <br /> very carefully as there will undoubtedly be a number of <br /> sensitive issues and concerns.
