The robbery took place on March 2nd and was one of three known felonies committed in the Village this week. 2. The Chief will check on bullet-proof vests for- -his depart- ment today ( 3/4 ) . • 3. Officer Puffer' s retirement party will be at Robert Lee' s on March 28th. The Council has been notified and .employees - will receive the invitation in their next paychecks. Lee Entner 1. The alarm system at St. Charles had been malfunctioning; but is -now being repaired. 2. The 1986 Fire Department Annual Report is ready to be typed. 3 . The last -meeting with Department Heads concerning disaster planning- is scheduled for March 10th. 4. Bill Myers and Jay Olson have already begun a fire public . education program ( seniors, the Health Center residents, and the schools) . 5. The -medical -emergency .at Snyder ' s should result in a com- mendation' for two ..persons' who saved the :life of the .victim. - .
