MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> BETWEEN <br /> CITY OF COLUMBIA-HEIGHTS <br /> AND <br /> CITY OF ST.. ANTHONY <br /> - . FOR <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> 1 . WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony, herein identified as BUYER, desires to obtain <br /> supplemental engineering services, and <br /> 2. WHEREAS, the City of Columbia Heights, herein identified as VENDOR, agrees to <br /> supply said supplemental engineering services, and <br /> 3. WHEREAS, BUYER and VENDOR desire to specify the nature of and charges for said <br /> services, <br /> 4. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that BUYER agrees to purchase and VENDOR agrees to <br /> supply the following services at the following charges, <br /> 5. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BUYER has the sole discretion for determining <br /> the level of service provided within this agreement. <br /> 6. BUYER and VENDOR- mutually agree to the provision of services in the following <br /> areas: (1) the direction and supervision of the BUYER'S draftsperson, and (2) <br /> miscellaneous engineering studies, as approved by BUYER and VENDOR. <br /> 7. BUYER and VENDOR mutually agree that the scope of this agreement does not <br /> include the provision of engineering services of a project nature. <br /> 8. BUYER agrees to pay the VENDOR the following charges. for services provided upon <br /> presentation.by the VENDOR of an itemized statement of the amount of time <br /> incurred for services to BUYER and ,how said time was spent. <br /> a.:' Labor charges- for 1987 shall be $43.97 per hour for principal engineer, <br /> $30.97 per hour for assistant engineer, $28.10:per hour for Tech IV, $24.49 <br /> per hour for Tech III, and $20.25 per hour for Tech II. , <br />
