CITY. MANAGERS OF MAMA-49 -2- February 20 , 1987 <br /> JOINT BARGAINING CITIES <br /> B. CHANGES IN THE WAGE RATES OF EMPLOYEES <br /> IN THE MAINTENANCE I CLASSIFICATION <br /> The MAMA Committee stated to the Union that no bargaining could <br /> take place at the local level with the individual cities with <br /> regard to the wage rates paid employees in 'the Maintenance I , II <br /> and III job classifications from those stipulated by the MASTER <br /> AGREEMENT. <br /> However , the individual Cities may , at the sole discretion of the <br /> City , unilaterally establish a system which would place employees <br /> in the Maintenance I job classification above the MASTER <br /> AGREEMENT Maintenance I rate . The -system(s) could move <br /> Maintenance I employees on the basis of individual employee <br /> performance or any other job-relevant criteria chosen by the <br /> City. <br /> No negotiations on such a system are provided for under the <br /> 'MASTER AGREEMENT. A system, if established , is at the sole <br /> option of the individual city. <br /> C. MEETING ON SETTLEMENT • <br /> A MANDATORY MEETING FOR ALL CITY MANAGERS OF MAMA-49 JOINT <br /> BARGAINING CITIES has. been scheduled for the following date , time <br /> and location : <br /> DATE: Monday , March 2, 1987 <br /> TIME: 1 :00 P.M. <br /> PLACE: Brooklyn Center City Hall <br /> Council Chambers <br /> 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway <br /> Brooklyn Center , Minnesota. <br /> The purpose of this meeting:.will be to- discuss the MAMA-IUOE, <br /> Local 49 settlement and to discuss local negotiations, i .e. , what <br /> is bargainable and not bargainable at the local level for 1987. <br /> Q <br />
