JOYNES , CHAIRMAN <br /> MAMA GENERAL LABOR RELATIONS COMMITTEE <br /> DATE: December 31 , 1987 <br /> SUBJECT: LABOR RELATIONS SUBSCRIBER SERVICE <br /> The MAMA Committee on Labor Relations.-Subscriber- Service Contracts _. <br /> recently renegotiated the agreement between the League of Minnesota <br /> Cities and Labor Relations Associates , Inc . for special subscriber <br /> services. As a result of those negotiations , the fee schedule will be <br /> increased for 1988-1989 by three percent as follows : <br /> Population Category 1987-1988 Fee 1988-1989 Fee <br /> Under 5 ,000 $ 829 854 <br /> 5 ,000 - 9 ,999 1 ,254 1 ;292 <br /> 10 ,000 - 14,.999 1 ,766 1 ,819 <br /> 15 ,000 - 19 ,999 2 ,341 2 ,411 • <br /> 20 ,000 - 29 ,999 3 ,014 3 , 104 <br /> Over 30 ,000 3 ,767 3 ,880 <br /> Invoices and copies of the 1988-1989 agreement are being sent to all <br /> cities currently using the special subscriber services. Those MAMA <br /> cities not using the special subscriber services will receive a copy <br /> of this letter and copies of the 1988-1989 agreement. If a <br /> non-subscribing city wishes to use the special subscriber services, <br /> they may do so by remitting the appropriate fee to the League of <br /> Minnesota Cities, Labor Relations Subscriber Service. Population is <br /> based upon most recent Metropolitan Council population estimates. <br /> Remittance of the special subscriber fee should be forwarded to the <br /> League of Minnesota Cities no later than March 1 , 1988. <br /> Services provided by the Labor Relations Subscriber Service include: <br /> 1 . General Membership Services <br /> This agreement provides for two types o-f labor relations <br /> services. The first is "general membership services" for <br /> cities that are members of the League of Minnesota Cities and <br /> Association of Metropolitan Municipalities. Each of these <br /> organizations contribute an amount to the labor services fund <br /> on behalf of their respective membership.
