s <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: March 2, 1988 <br /> TO: Dave Childs, City Manager <br /> Department Heads <br /> FROM: Connie Kroeplin <br /> ITEM: STAFF MEETING NOTES - MARCH 1 , 19.88 <br /> The meeting began at 10 : 10 A.M. Present were Larry Hamer, Connie <br /> Kroeplin,, Carol Johnson,_- Dave. Childs, Don -Hickerson. Lee -Entner-:- <br /> and Ray Nelson were absent. <br /> Larry Hamer <br /> 1. New home construction for 1988 has begun in earnest around <br /> the City. <br /> 2 . The sprockets and chain on the street sweeper have to be <br /> replaced. The cost will be about $1, 300. Sweeping/ <br /> cleaning the streets will begin as soon as the sweeper is <br /> repaired (probably a week to 10 days) . <br /> • 3 . There are several items remaining to be done at the liquor <br /> store project, i.e. , trash, rails, move dumpster behind the <br /> building, etc. <br /> 4. The pinboard the City Manager had requested to identify <br /> water break locations is almost completed. <br /> 5. The storm and sanitary sewer reports from RCM will be <br /> submitted by early April. <br /> 6. Mr. Hamer has sent several letters to Roger Bona during the <br /> last several months concerning parking on the right of way <br /> on his service station property. Mr. Bona has not yet <br /> complied with the parking regulations, another letter will <br /> be sent. <br /> Carol Johnson <br /> 1 . The new voting booths were delivered last Friday. The <br /> machines are expected to be delivered sometime during the <br /> first part of April. Mrs. Johnson intends to demonstrate <br /> the machines to interested residents and will include an <br /> article in the Newsletter to that effect. <br /> • 2 . Mrs. Johnson indicated she felt the weekend retreat was a <br /> success and both the facilities and facilitator should be <br /> commended. <br />
